Clear and shining water makes people comfortable. The ancient world of aquarium calls the water “elegant”. The elegant water is not just transparent but appears gleaming in the eyes. Create water. Learn water. Water adds sparkle to entire lives. However, once the balance of environment is lost, water condition decays and it is hard for animal beings to live.

Softenizer

Softenizer

They are designed for softening hard water. The ion-exchange resin inside the Softenizer is stirred up with the outflowing water from the canister filter system. It effectively lowers the hardness of the water. Three sizes are available according to the size of the aquarium tank and the water quality. The appearance of working resin is beautiful visually and does not disturb aesthetic of the aquascape.

Drop Checker

Drop Checker

A glass-made instrument created specifically for examining the CO2 level of aquarium with simple procedure. Add some pH reagent and aquarium water to Drop Checker. Then, set it inside the tank .

* Includes a pH reagent (5ml)
* In case the reagent turns yellow from the beginning, due to the low pH value in the aquarium, the reagent color does not change even after adding further CO2. In such a case, please make a water change for raising pH level, and make sure the reagent turns blue or green before resetting Drop Checker in the aquarium.

Pack Checker Series

Pack Checker pH

With this product, it is very easy to measure the level of pH: just pump the water into a tube. Most water plants and tropical fish prefer soft and slightly acidic water. Please check the pH level before releasing the fish into the aquarium and during regular water changes.

* Measurement range / pH5.8-8.0
* Do NOT use for marine aquarium

Pack Checker TH

TH (Total Hardness of water) is the sum of some multivalent cations, such as calcium ions, in water.  When the TH level is high, the color of new leaves starts fading and the growth of the plants is disturbed. Please always check the level of TH after setting new stones or gravels in your aquarium.

Pack Checker NH4

Ammonium is from organic matter, such as unconsumed fish food or excretion of fish, and it changes to a high toxicity ammonia when the water quality becomes alkaline. Ammonium disappears once biological filtration works normal. This product helps you to know when the biological filtration starts working properly.

Pack Checker NO2

Nitrite formed from ammonia is harmful to aquatic creatures, such as fish and shrimp. The level of NO2 in the tank goes up right after the initial set-up of the aquarium and when the biological filtration becomes unstable. Excellent for examining the condition of the filter system.

Pack Checker NO3

When the biological filtration of the aquarium is working properly, nitrite quickly decomposes into harmless nitrate. It becomes an important nutrient for the water plants. Yet, the excess amount of nitrate in the water promotes algae growth.

Pack Checker ClO

The amount of chlorine residue in tap water varies by locality and temperature. It is very important to check if the water is neutralized properly on regular basis. A close observation of the CIO level is recommended during winter time when the amount of chlorine residue is higher.

Pack Checker COD

The organic matter from the leftover fish food and excretion of fish contaminates the water, and also causes the algae and germs inside the aquarium. COD is one of the indicators which tells the degree of water deterioration. When the aquarium is dirty or has too many fish inside, we see the high level of COD.

* Do NOT use for marine aquarium
